So, we made it and one of America’s freshest immigrants seems to be having a fine time in her new homeland.
We have been here for about a week, visiting my parents in a small city in Ohio. The entry was uneventful. We went through customs and immigration in Chicago. First to the normal immigration officer sitting in a booth and then when they saw that Amy was a new immigrant, we were guided over to a section off to the side to have her paperwork processed.

So.....we are shipping the cats out in about an hour and all that remains is getting ourselves moving in a westward direction.
The movers are coming the day after tomorrow and we have lots to clean. We will return after the big jump across the Atlantic, with a detailed account of our Homeland Security Department Cavity Search. Till then....ciao!!!!! Comments (3) |
